Focusing on developing software for Windows 7. During the development of Windows 7, numerous telemetry factors were recorded for instant feedback during the beta releases. Using these metrics helped MS to deliver a better operating system.
Microsoft partnered with ASUS to build a custom laptop to learn more about the building of hardware. Doing this helped them to understand all of the troubles hardware manufacturers go through while doing what they do.
